Children who are registered as Half-day should be picked up at 12 noon.

Children who are registered as Full-day should be picked up promptly at 5:30 pm or before.

The LLDCC will be closed on official holidays, as issued by the Public Entity Saba. The LLDCC will also be closed on other days designated as holidays by the Public Entity Saba; which are not part of the Official Public Holidays. Parents will be informed about these closing days.

The LLDCC may close early on a specified day(s) for Team Meetings or training to improve the professionalization of its staff. Parents will also be informed about these changes in advance.

Pedagogical Approach

The LLDCC is gradually toward fully implementing the High-Scope Approach and Curriculum. This approach has two parts, the Infant-Toddler Curriculum which focuses on children ages 0-2 years, and the Pre-School Curriculum, which focuses on children ages 3-6 years.

Active learning is at the center of the High-Scope Curriculum. It’s the foundation where young children gain knowledge through their natural play and interactions with the environment, events, and other people.

Children and Age groups

The class groups are divided by the age and development of the child. The caregiver/ professional to child(ren) ratio has been set, based on the Island Ordinance. Please see the break down provided below:
