First Fathers appreciation Care Day Successful

On behalf of the Community Development and Parenting In Action (PIA), we would like to thank the Community and all stakeholders that have contributed towards our first Fathers appreciation Care Day, this event was held in connection with Father’s Day.

We would like to thank our professionals who did an outstanding job in providing their services to all men present. We would also like to thank Ms. Angie Ignacio, Ms. Maria Ortiz Roa, Ms. Suleyka De la Rosa, Mr. Mervin Alexander and Mr. Danny Aybar Alejandro for providing their services of grooming and massages.

Organizers of the Department of Community Development and the Parenting in Action group, were very pleased with the successful turn out of the event. The aim was to welcome the fathers into a relaxing environment, where they were able to play games, get pampered, enjoy delicious food and be entertained by DJ Daddy Slim.

During the event information about the ‘Best Dad Ever program’ was also shared, in which father’s were given the chance to sign up and be part of this new program. This program is to enhance all father’s parenting skills, and guide them in becoming a role model for their children. Registration for this program, can still be done at the Department of Community Development.
