Registration Still Open - Food Handlers Training

As of January 1st, 2024, all food handlers will be required to undergo food handlers training to receive their food handler’s card. All existing food handler’s cards will be renewed as of January 1st and will be valid for two calendar years. Individuals will only receive a new card if proof of successful completion of the food handler’s course is provided.

The Public Entity Saba is offering the second and final training opportunity for this year from October 23rd – October 26th. Participants will be able to select the date and time of their choosing, depending on availability. The training will address the following themes:

1. Food Hazards

2. Food Contaminations

3. Pest Control Programs

4. Food Borne Diseases

5. Hygiene Measures

Registration will open on October 10th and will remain open until all spaces have been filled. The form will be made available on the Public Entity Saba website.

Please note that if you attended the Food Handler's Training in June 2023, you do not need to sign up for this class, as your Food Handler's Card is good for 2 years.
