Traffic Evaluation Update

The Public Entity Saba would like to inform the public of the following:

We would like to inform you that representatives of the Public Entity Saba, Police, Saba Cares and the contractor for the hospital project met on Monday, October 16, 2023, to assess the newly implemented traffic situation in The Bottom. As part of our commitment to improving the convenience and safety for our community, we have been diligently monitoring the traffic flow and parking situation and its impact on our island and citizen.

After careful consideration and evaluation, the conclusion is that some adjustments are needed to make the traffic flow more smoothly and efficiently in The Bottom. A number of improvements will be implemented immediately, including clear road signs, relocation of the trailers, adding a few more parking spots for hospital visitors and opening of a new parking area in The Range. In addition, Saba Cares offers transportation for patients with appointments to and from the parking lots by Juliana Sports Field and The Range to the clinic Monday through Friday every half hour between 8 am and 11:30 am.

We want to assure you that the upcoming adjustments are part of our ongoing efforts to make the traffic flow in The Bottom more user-friendly.
