Update on repairs to Reverse Osmosis Network

For the past weeks, there have been issues with the Reverse Osmosis (RO) Network, resulting in a halt in RO Water distribution. It has been determined that there is a leak in the system between the pumping station at Public Works and the Hospital. However, identifying the exact location of the leak has been a challenge.

The Public Entity Saba is actively working to find the source of the leak and make the necessary repairs. Please be aware, in the attempt to find the leak, there will be road work near the location of the water filling station in the Bottom, and near the Sacred Heart church.

Providing water to the community is of utmost importance and therefore, a solution is being developed to allow water to flow to the cistern in Windwardside. This means truckers will be able to use the filling station in Windwardside to continue providing water. It is expected that this can start in the coming days. Production of drinking water has not been impacted due to this leak.

More information will be provided as soon as we have a clearer understanding of the situation and its implications.
