During this period, a prolonged bout of rain is anticipated, with rainfall amounts ranging from 2 to 3 inches. However, there is a small but noteworthy risk of higher accumulations, potentially reaching 3 to 5 inches in some areas.
It underscores the importance of remaining vigilant and prepared for changing weather conditions. Given the expected rainfall, it is likely that warnings for local flooding and thunderstorms will be issued either later today or by Tuesday. Furthermore, northerly swell of 2-4 ft is expected from Tuesday evening onwards. Small craft should exercise caution.
